From December 6th to 11th, 2023, a delegation from the Institute of Transportation Safety of the China Academy of Safety Science and Technology was invited to visit Ghent University in Belgium and Lund University in Sweden. During the visit, the delegation engaged in academic exchanges with relevant scholars and toured the laboratories. 
Through this visit, the researchers involved gained a more comprehensive understanding of the international progress in fire science and safety evacuation and learned about advanced experimental techniques and analytical methods. Furthermore, this visit laid the foundation for future collaborative research, which will contribute to enhancing the international academic influence of the China Academy of Safety Science and Technology.
