Earlier this year, the Safety Evaluation Center of the China Academy of Safety Science and Technology (CASST) dispatched an expert review team to 3M's production site in South Korea and Singapore, and successfully completed the on-site review work (overseas part) of 3M China Co., LTD. (3M China) for its special labor protection equipment safety mark (LA) import manufacturing certificate renewal as planned.
As a personal protective equipment company, 3M China was established by 3M Co., Ltd. in China in the early 1990s, The Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Product Department of 3M China is committed to providing high-quality personal protective equipment for industrial and mining enterprises et al. 3M South Korea Hwaseong factory was built in July 2007, the main products include self-priming filter air-purifying respirators, gas masks and related filters. 3M Singapore Tuas plant was built in 2009, the main products include non-powered air-purifying respirator, gas masks and their filters.

After four days of hard working, the review team successfully completed the overseas part of the on-site review task of 3M China's imported manufacturing LA license renewal as planned. Through this review work, the recognition and implementation of China's Special Labor Protection Products Safety Mark (LA) and related new GB standards in 3M's South Korea and Singapore plants have been further enhanced.
